Become a member of the Fairmount Park Art Association.
With thousands of public artworks throughout the city, Philadelphia is truly a "museum without walls." Each work of public art is a unique and irreplaceable part of Philadelphia's cultural legacy. The Fairmount Park Art Association works to secure Philadelphia's artistic heritage through programs and advocacy efforts that:
Promote public interest in public art.
Preserve and protect existing works of public art for future generations.
Commission and support new projects that integrate art, architecture, and
   urban planning.

Why Join?
The Fairmount Park Art Association is a nonprofit organization, and its work is supported by its membership, by the generous gifts of individuals, and by special grants. Members of the Art Association help support a tradition of public art excellence.

Member Benefits
Members receive invitations to the Fairmount Park Art Association's Annual Meetings, which feature distinguished guest speakers such as Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen (2001), writer and critic Lucy Lippard (1998), and Christo and Jeanne Claude (1996); notices of symposia, special events, and publications of interest; and invitations to special receptions and dedications. Membership dues and contributions are tax-deductible.
